Moving to a New Dental Office

Due to the success of our dental clinic over the past couple of years, we have found ourselves in the position where we need a larger dental office. We have outgrown our current space, and we cannot handle the records and the number of new patients that we have.

But we have had to make some decisions when it has come what we are going to move. Most of the business equipment will be moving with us as it is still useful for our purposes. We have hired a professional moving company to move that part of the office.

But when it comes to the clients records, we have decided to take a different route. Most of the records we have on hand are collected from back when we started the clinic over ten years ago, so most of it is of no real value to the current operations of the company. We had originally decided that we were going to use a personal shredder to shred everything.

Once we started doing this, we realized that our little paper shredder was just not going to cut it. It couldn't come close to the shredding capacity of commercial paper shredders on the market. In fact, we weren't sure if a commercial paper shredder would cut it.

So, we hired a company that would use an industrial shredder to shred all of the paperwork. This way we would ensure that everything would be destroyed in a secure matter - too bad we can't do that with everything else in the office as it would make the move easier.
